A New Era of Proxie.
@proxiedetroit is now @goproxie.
Autumn here, founder of Proxie! For the last 18 months, Proxie has gone through several evolutions, trying to provide the best small business resources and education to Black women entrepreneurs. When I started, I decided to pay homage to my hometown through our social media handles and website.
As we’ve grown, I’ve realized that Proxie has an impact well past Detroit, with entrepreneurs in California, New York, and Washington, D.C..
As Proxie transforms from a small instagram resource to a nationally renowned small business education firm, I wanted to create a powerful name to go with it.
@goproxie is the next chapter of what Proxie can offer our community of Black women entrepreneurs. I envision a strong community with support from the worlds biggest corporations to ensure Black women entrepreneurs WIN. I envision in-person community spaces and events for entrepreneurs who are looking for opportunity and support. And more importantly, I see you growing your business from an idea to reality with Proxie as one of your biggest supporters.
Thank you for being a part of Proxie’s growth so far and I look forward to expanding with you by my side.
